App for taking notes from any application

I usually watch tutorial videos and listen audiobooks. While listening/watching I want to jot down quick notes from those. Is there any notes app which can be launched directly while watching the videos so that I can quickly write the note then close it and continue to watch the video?

Yes...if you're Jailbroken! Then use "Backgrounder" to run several apps...

Thanks for confirming this. I checked and found that I have installed the wrong version. It's working now. It's strange to see that the new version is actually for only 2.x.

Well it hasn't still solved my problem. It puts the app in background but how can I switch quickly between apps?

Play the audio/video in the background and then keep open the note pad for notes. Other than that you will have to keep switching back and forth from apps. You can't watch a video and have the notepad open taking notes at the sametime. Unless the notepad was capable of a quick note like the quick SMS app that allows you to quickly reply while keeping your curent app open.

You can't "switch" between 2 applications in a quick way. You'll have to hold down the HOME button for a couple of seconds, and then open a new app. When you need to go back to the first app, you'll have to go back and open this... - remember that practice will make you a master...
