Default +70,000 Apps = -$$ From Wallet

I just realized I have spent a good amount of money over the past 6 months or so on apps, music, music videos. It is almost like I am sucked in because $1 here $1 there and before you know it, $100 lol.

About how much have you spent on apps over the last 6 months.

I have over 120 apps. A number of those are free. Some turned out to be very useful and others not so much so. Also, the most expensive apps haven't always turned out to be my favorites. I have some free or $1 apps that I get a great deal of use out of. I have slowed down my purchase of apps though. I don't have the time to learn everything so I'm just concentrating on the most useful apps.

I've just learned to keep apps on the computer but just hide them - great way of saving space - don't like having too many pages. Not saying I couldn't do this before, just that I just learned the benefit.

I've spent quite a bit on the app store. I bought an airplane timetable app for when I went on holiday, cost me Ł5.00 I have used it once. I just think maybe that will come in useful one day. I need to stop spending so much ;(

Ouch! I just ran a report from my Money program and spent $274.90 in the last 6 months and 547.04 in the last 12 months. Whoops, I hope the misses doesn't figure out the reporting feature cause 99 cents or $1.99 20 times a month isn't currently throwing up any red flags for her. Hey, I ask and she says sure what's a buck!

$0. I still have never bought an app, video, or even one song from iTunes lol.
My account has never had payment information in it.
I spent $500 for the phone and like $70 a month for service so I think $2000 is enough to spend thank you very much.

Not counting JB apps, I'd say about $10, and I can't remember most of them, which is saying a lot about how useful they've proved to be for me.

I wish there was a way in your account info > purchase history where you could easily find out how much you've spent on apps alone.

I painstakingly went through all of my invoices since the opening of the App Store in 07/08. It's not an easy process but you can find out exactly what you've spent if you're determined and perhaps extremely OCD, like me.

Once in your purchase history, you've got to first navigate to the opening of the store July 08. From there you'll see a list of orders and columns for titles included in order and total price.

Here the tedious process begins. The problem is the field "titles in order" isn't wide enough to view everything on that particular invoice. If you see a fee in the "total price" column you've got to open that invoice to view the details and determine how much of the total was actually spent on apps.

Once you're finished with that invoice you click done and are taken back to the list of orders. Fortunately from there you can use the previous button to view the remaining invoices. Of course, you've got to keep a calculator handy and keep a running total until you make it through all of the invoices.

After doing all of this, I am quite surprised my number isn't much higher. I've currently got 195 Apps in my iTunes Applications folder. I've deleted others through time which were so ridiculous I knew I'd never use them again.

I've actually just spent $48.85 + tax (not OCD enough to figure out how much tax was for apps vs. media on each individual invoice) on all of those apps over a 14 month period and $18 of that was on MLB At Bat 2009 and Madden 10 alone.
