game developer looking for a home

The free version of my game, Flickitty Free, was approved by apple last week. You can view the screenshots at http://itunes.com/apps/FlickittyFree or http://flickitty.com

I'm looking for a small community that I can call 'home'. I'm not looking for a bunch of random people that stop in for one post and you never see them again. I'd like to see the same small group of people posting frequently. I'm not sure if this is the site for that type of community, but I'll be watching.

On the developer side of things, Flickitty Free was approved rather quickly- it took about a week. I thought it would take much longer, so I'm somewhat embarassed that I really wasn't prepared. I had to throw together a makeshift site, which put a halt on my update.

I haven't played the free version for a while and a lot has already been addressed on my developer version, which will be updated to iTunes eventually. So if you make a suggestion or comment, it may already be implemented and ready for the update.

I'll provide a tip for new players: Flick can fly, and his velocity has nothing to do with how fast you move your finger. Slower, longer strokes are advisable.

I have just been playing it.

Its a good game I think enjoyed it.

The app crashed once after I had finished smashing the rocks and went to the menu and went to do the mining task the app just shutdown so I had to re open it and start playing again.

Also when I was doing the mining task I got one of the carts stuck in the fan that puts a block of ice onto the bottom of you if you land on it and I couldnt get the cart out because everytime I tried the fan hit me and turned me into ice.

Good work on the game though

I'm not sure how the mining car would get stuck. You can just grab it and move it with your finger- Flick doesn't need to be anywhere near the fan.

Sorry to hear it crashed. I may have already resolved this on my developer version. And thanks for giving the game a try.

Ah I didn't know you could just move it with your finger that's why inwas keep trying to use the cat to grab on to it, I also noticed on the one were you have to get the mining carts that after you have spoke to the miner there isn't arrows directing you to were the carts are instead the arrow just keeps directing you to the miner, is this how it should be do you have to find then yourself and have no help from arrows pointing you to were the carts are?

The arrow will always point to the Miner for that task, and you have to go find the mining cars. I probably need to explain that a bit better in the instructions.

Instructions are one of the shortcomings of this game, but I'm trying really hard to resolve this. The fact that you are playing the game and relaying this information to me is really helpful. Thanks!
