Review: Griffin Powerjolt Vehicle Power Charger for iPhone 3G

OK heres my second review brought to you by APS Pro Store www.apsprostore.com. This is a pretty short review because, well its a car charger. I have used both the Powerjolt SE and the Powerjolt. The reason I prefer this over the SE is the removable USB cable. This charger works perfectly with the iPhone 3G, charges great. In the package it also includes a USB to mini USB cable to charge a bunch of other things. I think mini USB is the most widely used connector. I tried it on the following:
Blackberry Curve
Blackberry Pearl
Moto V3 RAZR
Blueant Supertooth 3
Blueant Supertooth Lite
Canon 300D camera
Canon SD430 camera
Canon SD630 camera

The Powerjolt charged them all. This was particularly good news for me as I use my iPhone, Blackberry and Supertooth 3 bluetooth regularly. So Instead of having 3 chargers in my glovebox, I have one. Some nice features of the charger is a charging status indicator, it shows red/amber/green for the level of device charge, and also has a 2amp fuse to protect your investments should anything go wrong. yeah ive had this same one since my v1 iphone and now the 3g its great i cant find a single fault or con. its great that its usb so you can pretty much plug in anything i even got it to charge my gps system when i was on the road one time and realized i didnt have the car charger becuase i brought the computer cable by accident and i thought maybe my iphone charger will charge it and it worked

I bought the regular powerjolt thinking it was for the 3G but realized it does not work. I thought it was because others have complained old accessories are not working on the new phones but you guys are saying it does? When I plugged mine in I got no light indicator or charge symbol on my phone. You guys are saying this should work with the 3G? If so does your led light and charge indicator work? I just want to clarify before I send it back?

I bought the PowerJolt SE but it wasn't what I thought it was. It does charge my 3G though.
