Default Powersupport Crystal Film on iPhone 3G

Will these screen protectors still work on the iPhone 3G? I guess the only issue is if the front of the screen is the exact same dimensions as V1. Anyone know? Thanks!

I think they should, cause the only difference in the v1 and 3G's screen isnt the dimensions but the "quality", supposable the 3G iPhone is using the iTouchs screen or w/e
-but it shouldnt be a problem

I don't think that's true. When I put my 3g next to the v1 it's a bit wider. I "screen" space may be the same but the edge of black between the end of the active screen and the chrome edge is larger in the 3g than it is in the v1

No, they're different. According to the Apple website the item# for the v1 is PIA-01 and for the 3G its PIA-05E

the 3g is a lil wider than the v1. i was told by an apple rep that i could use the v1 power support anti-glare on the 3g, it looked alright to me, but once i went to the apple store again after the 3g debuted, i noticed a power support anti-glare shield for the 3g. then i noticed the gap for the shield was more than i expected. so overall it does work, but since i have the incipio case, i hardly notice the gap. it's about a mm gap on the side. im okay with it, i just wish i would have waited to buy the 3g shield. hope that helps

Zagg.com has new Invisible sheilds that fit the new 3G
I got mine and it fits better than the old one did on my old iPhone
