Motorola bluetooth headset

I have a bluetooth headset that I used to use with my LG phone. It is not exactly old, about 1.5 years and I cannot seem to pair it with the iPhone. Other then having the headset power on and the phone set to "on" for bluetooth is there a trick I am missing?

My phone is running 1.02 and tells me it is "discovering" but never does anything else.
