So, are there any items out there that will allow direct input to an Aux port and provide charging at the same time? If so, are those units also compatible with iPods?

The Apple Genius at my local store said that it could be that it uses the firewire pin layout and not a USB - although my 5th get ipod charged just fine on it.
At this moment - there doesnt seem to be an iPhone car charger with audio out - but I will buy the first one to become available .
