Default iPhone 3GS with Jabra5050 bluetooth car kit

Hi,

I had been using a Jabra 5050 bluetooth car kit with my iPone 1st generation no bother for quite a while. I now have the 3GS and I now have BlueTooth radio silence - the 3GS simply doesn't see the Jabra.

Anyone have any ideas about this or seen it before.

cheers

Default

I have a similiar issue. I have a Jabra sp700 car kit. It worked fine when i had 3.1.1 installed. When i upgraded to 3.1.2 it stopped working. It finds the jabra, but it treats it like a headset. I can't use if for phone calls at all. My phone also is a 3gs that i just updated in the last week.

Default Fixed it

Hi
at the *second* attempt, following the Jabra instructions to hold down two buttons at the same time for 5 seconds - sorry to be vague but I am not too sober at present - my iPhone 'saw' my jabra straight away and has been great ever since.
I think the iPhone s/w upgrade must re-identify the phone as regards BTooth so the jabra doesn't think there is anything to connect to.
Lots of luck
Alastair
