has anyone bought the iphone ear piece. I was looking at it. looks pretty good but is it worth $99. I think that was the price?

ive heard nothing but complaints about it, specifically with range. people are getting static when the phone is simply in their pocket. second major complaint is really poor battery life.

the reviews listed on the apple store are really polar... with people rating it "5 stars" but still noting those two serious issues, while others were more honest in giving it 3 or less stars based on its poor performance.

based on that, i ended up buying the Bluetrek METAL since you get similar styling but much better performance and price. http://www.amazon.com/Bluetrek-Metal...7087034&sr=8-2

if u want details that go slightly beyond the surface based on ownership and use, i wrote a review on the amazon link for the product.

I had the Jawbone (new one) and it was same old problems as the old Jawbone, low volume, would not stay in ear. I looked at the apple, but went with the Platronics 995. I s the best I have ever used.
