dock for yamaha AV receiver
the YDS11 ipod dock I purchased with the yamaha RXV 863 receiver does not work - it says its incompatible with my iphone.
Has anyone connected their iphone to a yamaha receiver? |

well, it's normally a crap shoot when you are putting an iPhone on a device made for iPods. Some only give you the warning message and work fine. Some give you the message and don't work at all.
And occationally, some will smoke your device before you finish seating it on dock...

Most receivers
Most AV receivers don't work with the iPhone. There are a few exceptions like Pioneer's new VSX series receivers. The VSX-1019, 919 and 819 receivers work with iphone and ipod and will let you access music, photos, and videos on your home theater.
