Which is built in, and will get sratched. You will not be able to remove it. why would you want that? And that is not a screen protector, it merely protects the physical components, like the lcd screen. Its not meant to stop scratches. you cant replace the built in one, so it looks like you may need a screen protector to protect the screen protector. lol

If it's cz (reports point to yes) then no. It will not scratch thus not needing a screen protector.

what's "cz"?

and wouldn't a screen protector interfere with the touch screen actions?

Cubic zirconia...basically a highly highly highly scratch-resistent surface. I'm not really qualified to explain more though, hopefully someone can jump in.

I would be down for a synthetic sapphire screen.
I don't care how much they smudge.
Of course their is one draw back to HD synthetic crystals... smudging, yes folks they smudge like a bear eating a wired up toaster.
And isn't the word "there" supposed to be used in that context?
Or do I fail?

do you guys realize that the iphone only reacts to human skin so a screen protector is a waste of money because the screen cannot sense your skin. if you want something to protect your iphone gut a flip case to cover the screen

Uh, so do the finger thing on laptops, and they sell covers for those. I asked the man at the apple store and he said they were the same. The iphone reacts to human skin because it is conductive, but that doesnt mean you cant cover the screen.
