The functionality of the Rivet's are great and they seem to be good quality, however, I was hoping for a little better sound out of them. They seem to really be lacking in the bass dept. After using the Rivets for a couple of weeks I can say that for the price they are the best solution for me. It's true that they do not sound fantastic (for example, not as good as the Creative Zen's earphones) but they are quite good and by far the best compromise I have come up with. My objection to their sound is just that they sound "metallic" (to me, at least) and they distort at high levels. But because they have the mic and switch included they are the best compromise for me.
