Voice Memo via MMS

One other quick note relating to this subject...in the Voice Memo app, when you select "share" and then select "MMS" the file will be in .wav format and when you select "email" the file will be sent in .m4a format - and both the MMS and the Email options can actually be sent as an email...

Wow didn't know that, I guess thats how other users (non-iphone) can hear the message where as .m4a I don't think they could. Thanks!

Can anyone tell me what happened and how to fix problem?? I finally discovered that I could send voice memos via mms & email! it was working, however the next day when I tried to send another via both mms & email to same person, it appeared that my iPhone was sending but it never completed the "sending"! all voice memos I attempted were all less than 10 seconds long!

Did you try resending by hitting the red exclamtion point? I get that occasionally, but a second try usually gets it to go through.

I know what ur talking about, I get that red ! when in the middle I'd sending a text it is interrupted by a telephone call and upon returning to text I can then press the red ! to complete the sending of the text.
Unfortunately this isn't the problem I'm having. Although I was able to text my voice memos a day earlier, for some reason i can't anymore!! Don't know why!! I'm doing the same as I did before! I'm still able to text and email as usual the normal text & email!
