Hi Everyone,
I just purchased an iphone 3gs 16gb from Craig's list. The phone works great, it's jailbroke but not yet unlocked, i'm waiting for the 3.1 unlock so i can use it on T-mobile.
The iphone has a few apps, music, videos from the previous owner, it also has his e-mail addres still on it as well with some messages etc.
Questions:
1.) Can I connect the iphone to my computer which currently has itunes which i was using with my older ipod?? I am concerned that it may auto sync the info on the iphone to my itunes or vice versa.
2.) Do I have to re-register this phone? I would like it to have my info and not the previous owners info.
3.) How do I delete apps which i do not want. Can it be done on the phone directly or do i have to connect to itunes, which take me back to question #1
Anyadvice on what I should be doing after purchasing a used iphone will be much appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

You'll need to use he's iTunes account/login! I wonder why he sold this iPhone with some private messages on-board!?

Thanks Pacasso. Is there a way i can bypass this. Should I get int touch with Apple to re-register the iphone under me and remove the previous owner or should I call the previous owner and ask him to un-install his iphone on itunes....I don't know how this works but my goal is to be able to connect this iphone to my current itunes which i use with my ipod.
Pls. advice.
Thanks,
Gerard
If you don't need these applications from he's account, then you can start a new account in iTunes with your name!
