as promised... Vegas/Canyon: (part 1)
bird's eye 1 (this is actually over Colorado... not the canyon. I also had to hold up a polarized filter over the iPhone lens to try and eliminate some of the glare)
bird's eye 2 (this too is over Colorado)
bird's eye 3
I was going to delete this one but I actually like the glare
I found this amusing (Best Buy vending machine with the iPhone and iPod touch)... I almost got kicked out of the Luxor for this... apparently you cannot take pictures anywhere inside of the Luxor. :/ (sorry it's blurry)

Thanks! And you are correct... Mandalay Bay![]()
Thanks! I really didn't want to leave!
we were told to stay away from the tour companies but also heard a lot of good things about one called the Grand Canyon Tour Company. I'll just say they were awesome!!! It wasn't all that expensive either... $300 per person but that included a personal tour guide, hotel pick up/drop off, flight on a 18 seat turbo prop that flew over Hoover Dam and all the way up to the east rim then back down to the south rim, ground tour at the south rim with wine and lunch at one of the lodges, 2 free professional photos, and a helicopter ride to the river level (or mule ride as an alternative). About 9 hours total including the 1 hour flight to and from. We were even told NOT to tip anyone! LOL
I did have to purchase a jacket though because I left mine at the Excalibur and it was about 30 degrees that morning at the canyon. hahahaI forgot how cold it can get there.
I'm considering the removal of all the "real" grass in my yard replaced by some of the fake stuff they had in Vegas! LOL
