I am still messing around with the auto focus and the closeups. I wasn't too happy with the landscape pictures and I will need to do some editing to get them to look right.
Just a tip for others out there:
When you are taking a picture, use the movable auto focus feature to control lighting. I have noticed that if I take a picture of a landscape, I can focus on the sky to to increase the contrast and saturation of it and then another taken focusing on the landscape to increase the contrast and saturation. Here is an example of this:
This first one has the auto focus pointing at the small house in the scene:
This one is focused on the sky itself:
I'll blend them together later on to get a picture with better overall contrast and color saturation. It works best to use some sort of a stand or tripod (Mine were done by hand)
