Iphone 3Gs remove Jailbreak when wet

hey guys, im new to the forum real cool is awesome!

    so i have a question.

    basically.
yesterday my iphone was working perfectly, so i decided to jailbreak it via Pwnagetool. its all worked great. Real Good, until i was installing my invisibleshield and water got inside the phone!!!!!

So it started turning on and off.
So i called Apple, and since its under 30 days they made an exception
to change it even if water damaged. i know awesome right.

but the problem is if they turn on the phone the jailbroke will void the warranty and im stuck on this screen!

Please Help me out! and thank you for taking your time to read this

I think DFU mode is your best bet. There are several methods to do it, but here's what I do:

    1. With the phone plugged into the computer, turn it off.

    2. Then press and hold the home and lock buttons together for about 10 seconds

    3. Release the lock button but continue pressing home for another 30 seconds

iTunes should recognize an iPhone in recovery mode and you should be able to restore to factory settings at this point. Good luck.

Did you use a credit card to purchase the phone? Many credit card companies have an automatic 90 day buyers protection and if you damage your phone they will replace/repair it for free. My daughter dropped her iPhone and cracked the screen 85 days after we bought it. AmEx paid $200 to have it repaired (replaced) at the Apple store.

Worth a call to your credit card company to find out if they have that service.

Definitely try the DFU method. If not contact your credit card company as cgmiller63 said above. DONT turn it into your carrier because they'll know it's been jailbroken

Since it keeps turning on and off on its own, just let it keep doing that until the battery drains and forces the phone to shut down. Then maybe try the DFU method? The will totally know that it is JB and send you on your way without giving you a new phone.

    Good luck.

    Try this,

    Open iTunes
    Connect phone
Hold power and home for up to a minute. Phone may cycle a few times but keep holding until the iTunes/USB logo comes on.
    Release both buttons.
If this works a window opens that says phone has entered recovery mode and needs to be restored. Go ahead and restore to factory settings.

Not sure what effect the water had but this works sometimes.

Do all of the above near a hairdryer. Good luck.
