Default Custom Ringtone help!

I did the iTunes > convert MP3 to AAC - M4a - then M4r

However, I can only see one(1) of the songs on my iPhone 3GS Settings>Ringtone>custom ringtone folder after I drag to the 'ringtones' folder in iTunes. Anybody know how I can resolve this?

Thanks in advance.

Use "iRinger" - it's easy and it convert these tones directly into your iTunes -> iPhone!

Ringtones can only be a certain length etc, maybe your songs are just too long. Worth checking out. However, I agree with P, 3rd party solutions are generally easier.

The limit for ringtones is 30 seconds. Sounds like your files are too long.

http://www.machackpc.com/iphone/how-...and-ipod-touc/

I used that link to get it to work.. It did work for importing his 6 sms ring tone replacements, but I wasn't able to get all 6 of MY own ringtones. Only a couple. I do have MY OWN on 3,4,5 I believe, but 1,2,6 slots don't have any tones. I can deal with this for now, but I want to know how others have gotten this to work consistently.

Dammit.... I just found that only slots 3,4,5 on SMS tones work. I tested this by importing new tones into those slots and they do work, whereas in slots 1,2,or 6 they do not.

For some odd reason, I cannot get 1, 2, and 6 slot to work. SOMEONE tell me what is the problem?
