Default without 3G?

will it still be able to run off edge? or is there only one choice... 3G.?

No, it will auto-switch to edge in lieu of 3G.

ok cool cuz my city doesnt have 3G. yet and is ganna get it soon, i just wanted to make sure i would have edge while i wait.

There was a screen shot posted a while ago from the beta software that let the user turn on/off 3G in regards to better battery life.

yup you definatly can toggle 3g off and on as you please
