Wifi probs + ringtone
Hi all,
just got an iphone 3G .. and hope u guys can help me on this site. I have opted not to take an internet package for now ... coz ive got free wifi connections wer i work .. my iphone happen to see the network but i cant connect to. i just cant fill out the interface abt the Ip adress n domaines .. my iphone aint suppose to connect to the network once i selected them ??  and yeah am trying for sm days to put a song (.mp3) as ringtone but i cant find the way to do it .. help very appreciated. |

Ok, I'm trying to decipher exactly what you just said because I don't speak that language, but I'm guessing you are having problems connecting to Wifi.
What type of Wifi setup does your work have? Is it WEP or WPA protected? Is it MAC address protected? As for the ringtone, you can't just use an mp3 as a ringtone. It has to be converted to a m4r and then synced via iTunes as a ringtone onto your phone. Do a search of the forums you'll find a bunch of links on different ways to do this.
