what is your real reason for upgrading from v1 to the new 3g iphone?

Simple,

I can use my bluetooth handsfree to talk to someone while looking up information from my corporate intranet and not even be in the same building. Of course, this won't happen when driving just like I don't do conference calls while behind the wheel. Google maps will work so I can give someone directions, all at the same time. Did this on the Tilt for the short time I had it.

Who said anything about driving? I may be somewhere (mall, parked somewhere, whatever) and want to talk to someone. They'll say hey, what time the movie?

I don't drive so that is a moot point. Besides, even if I was, I wouldn't do that. I was thinking more like while I'm at bus stops or waiting for someone inside a building, that sort of thing. Cell phones don't need to be used only while driving.

He didn't say anything about driving. And I'm with in on this, it is really nice to surf the net while you're on hold or your mom is talking to you about nothing for 45 minutes and you just to say the occasional "uh huh" to keep her happy
