Default The yellow tint.

K so on purpose apple made the screen yellower, they use the word "warmer".

Whats the overall opinion on this? I like the old screen a lot better, but I'll get used to this eventually.

I like the first screen better. I also prefer Diet Coke.

IMHO, I like the warmer screen much better. At first I was worried about it, but as time has gone on, it just looks better, the colors more true and easier on my eyes. When I look at my wife's fisrt gen, it just too blue to me.

I honestly don't really notice unless I hold a 3G next to my V1. The screen is "warmer" - the V1 has more of a blue tint. I think just about everybody either doesn't notice it or gets used to it.

To me, my screen looks exactly the same as a v1. I never had a yellowish tint from Day 1.

I heard some cases really exaggerate the yellow tint because it blocks a light sensor.

well I noticed it right away...I always prefer bluish "colder" tints over yellow/red "warmer" tints...it's how I have my tv and computer monitor so I'm used to it...

mine had a pretty big difference from my old one. i like the " colder " screen better than this new yellowish tint.... i know im picky but i went to the apple store told them the problem and after 10 minutes of talking he handed me a brand new iphone 3g, thisone is much better and closer to the " cold " screen.

That's exactly what I think about it.
Thanks for answering for me

Don't give it much thought, really. Been so long since I've seen a 1.0 iPhone that I don't care.
