i didnt notice any difference on mine. i guess ill double check and turn the V1 thats been in the dresser for a while now

I much prefer the v1 screen color. I still get annoyed at the color on the 3G. But whatever, there's nothing I can do about it.

i've set up a few 3Gs at work, and all have had a much yellower screen than my v1. no thanks.

I'm sure you get used to it and don't notice it... but side-by-side, I think I would always prefer the colder tone of the V1 screen. Who knows from day-to-day use, though. I don't watch movies on the phone.

The yellow tint's OK. As a dog owner, not much different from yellow snow.

I have made several exchanges now at the Apple Store and have noticed 3 different screens on the iPhone 3G ... The yellowish screen and a bluish screen similar to my 1st Gen that I had. The third screen seemed bluish however the alignment of the screen was a tad wacky, seemed to have an extra row of inactive pixels running down the left side, and kind of gave it the perception of being not centered. I do prefer the Blueish screen over the Yellow one.
