No missed calls or missed text notifications. For example a blinking light or the phone beeping every 5 mins.

Having to wait until the 2.x.x bugs are ironed out before I upgrade.

I'm really tired of waiting now. I want some new apps, damnit! But I will not sacrifice the stability of 1.1.4.

Has to be MMS I really miss that, my girlfriend used to send me some..... uhhh never mind lol. My next gripe would be like other before me have said is to have wall paper on my home page. I realize you can jailbreak it but after reading some of the problems that other have had after they j/b their phone I think I'll pass.

No text macros/shortcuts/datestamps. This set of features is easily available on PalmOS and WM

Default My ONE gripe...

My biggest gripe is that it is not truly enterprise ready. Another gripe is bad battery life. Oh yeah, another gripe is AppStore's strict regulations and heavy-handedness on what can and can't be offered to us. One more: video capture is missing. Finally, what about cut-n-paste. Wait, just one more...I wish it had voice dialing. Can I squeeze in another gripe?...I wish the vibrate mode would vibrate the phone a bit longer for text and email messages (and for phone calls, since we're at it). That reminds me, why can't I set an appointment to remind me at the exact time of the appointment? I'm on a roll...whey can't I snooze a calendar reminder? I'd better stop for now.

Default iPhone 3G gripes

it seems no one has said anything about data transfer via bluetooth and the lack of vCard sending capabilities. these are my two biggest bugbears but I do agree about the other stuff everyone's been saying on this forum. i tell my friends not to get the iphone 3G unless they don't mind the obvious incapabilities. Having said that, I'm having the time of my life with Super Monkey Ball.

yeah I will admit, lack of the ability to Bluetooth ringtones with my friends was thebiggest disappointment of 07. But come on. There isn't anything that does what the iPhone does better. Sure some can do a handful of things the iPhone lacks, but they still fail on the things they have in common with the iPhone.
