no, just the iphone version of white seems more for girls to me than the black...I'm sure guys will buy the white and that's fine, that's just my opinion.

16gb black for me. I already have a 8gb so even though the new 8gb is black, I need more than 3g and GPS to upgrade and twice the memory for $100 less than what my current device cost is just enough to make me want to upgrade.

For me, black just looks much more sleek. Plus it goes with my MacBook.

Don't you think I know I have a choice. I'm referring to the fact that the original iphone did not offer a choice and it was just fine with me.

Am I missing something? It was announced that the 8 GB will come in black and the 16 GB will come in white and black.

I was referring to the fact that the original didn't come in black but that was just fine because there wasn't a choice of colors then. When there is a choice of color, I would always choose black.

Alright. It's just that the subject of this thread is "Which iPhone 3G--black or white?", with no reference to the original phone. (the original phone is soooo yesterday)
