Default New with a question or two!

What's up everyone! I found an iPhone last night at the bar. I'm stoked I found it My first question is how can I now get to the main screen? The iPhone has a screen that shows the iPhone/iPod USB with an arrow pointing to the iTunes logo and underneath it it says "Slide for Emergency." Is this some sort of block that the person put on their phone that they lost it? When I take the SIM Card out, it tells me to "Insert a valid SIM..." Any and all help is greatly appreciated and welcome! Thank you much!

You're stoked? What about attempting to find the owner and return it?

I'm with MacGirl... This forum is full of ppl that have worked hard to BUY the iPhone they love and would be heartbroken to lose it and furious to know someone has found it and hasn't considered trying to return it. You may be in the wrong place trying to ask for advice on a phone that is not rightfully yours. Besides finding the owner is easier AND the right thing to do.

Take it to an AT&T store, please.

YES!
Highly agree with anyone! Please take it back to an AT&T store so it can be returned to the proper owner. It sucks when someonce steals something like that. Have had it happen.

Its not yours; its someone elses. Take it back!

I absolutely agree with everyone else here. What if you had worked really hard to finally get that phone and forgot it at the bar? You would want someone nice to return it to you. Please do the right thing and turn it in to an AT&T store so they can trace the owner and get it back to them.

Do the right thing--return the phone to its owner or a store. I hope nobody helps you with a phone you stole.

As you can see, you aren't going to get the kind of help you want here. Man up and find the owner. If not, crawl back under that slimly rock you came from.

Well, I'm guessing we won't be hearing from Dalmatino again.
