karma is just an excuse people use when trying to explain their pathetic lives. imo the owner who leaves his iphone at a bar doesn't deserve to get it back. it should go to a good owner who will take better care of it than that.

Sorry - can't agree with you on that one.

^yes i would, if i'm dumb enough to leave my iphone somewhere then i don't deserve to get it back. i'll pony up and go spend my money to get a new one, and next time i won't be so careless to leave it laying around. its called learning from your mistakes, IT WORKS!!!!

Look I agree with you that if you have an expensive phone you should take care of it but sometimes people make MISTAKES and just because someone else found it- that does NOT make it theirs. It's easily traceable and could be returned to it's rightful owner.

if you reread my last post, i mentioned "learning from mistakes". being adversely affected by a decision or mistake one made will further encourage them to not do it again in the future. by law, nobody is obligated to find the rightful owner, so in reality it does make it theirs. just last weekend i found a female wallet in a shopping cart in the parking lot, rather than turn it in i threw it in the garbage without even looking in it. i don't wish harm upon this ignorant woman, or do i want anyone to steal from her, however the turmoil she is going through will help her to never make the same mistake again.

also, don't take everything you read on the internet so seriously
