Arrow Need some help or advice !

Hey guys i have a friend he also has an 3g iphone, but the question is can i recover an iphone if it has been flooded, he said he only been in water with it for 2 mins and then it still worked after he got out, this happened 3 days ago. is there anything i can do to fix it, i have 2 other 3g parts iphones.

Turn it off and put it into a ziploc with dry, white rice for at least 72 hours. That will soak out most of the moisture and give it the best shot at survival.

no its not turning on, but i did put it in the rice as you said, ive done that before but i thought there would be a better way maybe to fix it.

If the rice doesn't work then there really isn't going to be much else to do. Replacing all of the damaged parts is likely to prove cost ineffective.

do you think he can go to at&t and get a new one

They're not going to replace it at AT&T or Apple with water damage. They can offer you the replacement price which is either $199 or $299 depending on the size (8GB vs 16GB) but that's about it.
