Default Iphone 3G simple way to backup contacts plz help

Hi,

I have a jailbroken iphone 3g and need to restore it back to original condition and then update anid jailbreak again because im having tons of problems with it.

Im on windows 7 what is the easiest way for me to back up my contacts and sms messages if possible before restoring to factory settings any help appricated.

Sync your contacts with google(?)

SMS messages don't get deleted if you update a jailbroken iPhone through iTunes then jailbreak again. Well they never deleted for me anyway

i have no idea how to sync my contacts with google how do i go about doing that

thanks..... I am restoring the phone to factory settings im sure that sms messages and call log will be deleted?

its in beta however. But why do you want to restore the phone to factory settings?

having soo many problems thats why i want to do a full restore.

no apps open loose calls often freezes often etc etc..

FOUND A GREAT SITE IN CASE ANYONE HAS THE SIMILAR PROBLEM I HAD.

funambol.com

sync your iphone directly to the computer and then back with this free service soo happy i found it.

You could have synced with windows address book. Simply click the arrow on the box next to "sync contacts with" to select it. Simple. No need to set up any accounts.
