3rd of all, when I authorized my computer to use my phone, it says 'you have 4 computers authorized to use this iphone'. No I don't. I own one ****ing computer and it's the only computer authorized to use this goddamn thing. Why the **** are they telling me that next thing you know, my phones going to be ****ed for no reason?
Did you also update all your app using the appstore? Just covering all the bases, because usually when there is new firmware comes updates for the apps themselves.
Also in order for your computer to have all the apps that are on your phone, you either have to or had downloaded them from your computer first. If you downloaded them from your iphone then you will have to copy them to your computer using "transfer purchases from iphone" function
Yeah my applications screwed up to. I got told to plug it into iTunes and reset the iPhone. But make sure you back up your contact lists. And then just click 'Restore' it worked for me. I had applications like the Lighsabre and Audi driving games and everytime I clicked mine it loaded and crashed and returned to home screen. If you try to reinstall them again its more likely to crash again.
8 days ago I updated the 'required' software update. Since then, every single one of my downloaded applications (free or paid) will not load (it tries and immediately crashes). I unsynched, resynched, I took out all new apps, I went through "restore" -- nothing works.
All of my factory installed applications (email, calendar) work just fine.
iPhone tech support said that iTunes needs to merge my two iTunes accounts into one. iTunes tech support says they "cannot merge accounts" and it is iPhone's fault.
in itunes right click your phones name and click transfer purchases to itunes or something similar. then do a resync and reboot your phone. once thats done go into the apps tab and make sure everything you want is checked and resync again. should work
