Default Dust under iPhone

Hey guys, I have few concerns.

The thing is that my iPhone 3g got some dust under the screen. I read online and people says that I can go to Apple and they will replace it for me, but i got few question.

1) contract is under my dad's name, would he need to come with me ?
2) I bought this phone off the ebay few months ago, I checked the warranty which expires next month. Would apple care if i bought it of the ebay ?
3) I dont pay for the internet since i bought it off the ebay, would apple will find out that and put the internet plan on my account ?

any information on above questions or your own experience if you can share with me to help me out. thanks.

#1 - Yes. If the contract is under your dads name, he will have to come with you, normally, unless the representive is understandable. Your dad can also contact AT&T and get them to add you as an authorized user to be able to do transactions and purchases.

#2 - No, there is no reason that Apple would have any problem with you buying it off of eBay. But you will need to get the Warrenty problem resolved. If you don't, you wont have much options when needing replacements.

#3 - Well, technically, no matter what you prefer, all iPhone users pay a $30 Data fee.
