Do you recommend Apple store or AT&T store to purchase new iPhone? - Page 4 - iPhone 3G

I think I'm going to AT&T since it's easier to get in and out of then our local apple store. But I'm still not sure if I want a new phone or if I want the new iphone. Meaning my car navigation stereo you can't transfer the phonebook for it to come up on the display, and why would they keep that feature unavailable do they not realize that more people might be inclined to want to buy an iphone since most cars come with the bluetooth in the car now...

Just disappointed with that feature...

So again, I'm really undecided...

Only the "corporate stores" are going to be carrying the iphone. That's what i was told. Not every AT&T is corporate owned. That's the reason why not all of them will be carrying it.

I went to both ATT & Apples stores today. Apple reps said they'll know Monday what time they open on 7/11. Both stores said they'll have a nice supply of cases.

AT&t rep told me that it's 1 iPhone per customer, but if I showed up with my 2 year old like I did today, I could get 2.

I think the poster is referring to corporate owned vs. non-corporate owned. There is a difference, as there is a AT&T store in walking distance of my home but do not carry the iPhone becuase they may not be corporate owned.
