Do you recommend Apple store or AT&T store to purchase new iPhone? - Page 3 - iPhone 3G

i went into the att store today to get my credit checked and when asked where i worked, i said costco and they told me i can get the discount on service, andi asked if they were sure because it didnt work for V1 and they said it does. so i say go to the att store so you can knock out getting the discount at the same time

I will be going to att around 8am friday. I hope there is not a big line at the time. However I asked att when they were opening for it and the girl told me they did not know which I found funny since it has been advertised 8AM!!!

witch ever is closer so if there is a problem you can go home and fix it lol, or if they are near buy witch ever has a smaller crowed when you show up. both have there pros and cons so doesn't matter to me just want things to be quick

You would think. I think that they just don't want to tell people so that they don't have a big line or something. They might be hoping you don't know the launch time so it makes their day easier?

I am planning on waiting until September so all of the early adopters will have a chance to voice their pleasures or concerns. After that, probably the AT&T store.

Also my V1 phone will be a year old, and that is the longest I have ever kept a cell phone of any kind.

i would thnk every store manager would want their store to have big sales & make those monthly bonuses. I'll check my store out tomorrow.

I think I will be going to the AT&T store near my house. I'm getting off of work at around 8:30 a.m. I could go to the AT&T store near my workplace. It has a larger store. But, the parking SUCKS! And I know it will be very, very busy. Maybe I'll just drive by.

But, I'm planning to go to the AT&T store near my house because it's at a mall with plenty of parking early in the morning. And I live in the "ghetto" and some people may not want to go there, if you know what I mean.

I'll go to the Apple Store, which are FAR drives only if the AT&T stores are all sold out. In Honolulu, I think that's highly unlikely.
