Do You people have any solution for Iphone 3G problem
Hi Guys,
I am totally newbie to apple products.I got an Iphone 3G from my friend living in USA,I am being in India, When he send the phone it was working but showing no network. I connected the Iphone to my PC the window pop up for Update,I click on that,It asked for download and install,I did that it started installing but gave 1604 error (which is unable to restore),I tried with all the possible solutions available on web but could not fix it.Then I called to Apple Support,They told that they support only with in USA because it has been brought from there.I asked what is the solution,they told I can go for jail break. I did that also using redsn0w,In the system it is showing that it is done but when I switch on my Iphone,Only emergency call is coming and there is no OS,when I tried to install it from Itune,it is not supported,Please help me out what to do..I dont want to spoil my friend's gift. have you ever heard of the law of relativity? just because he/she posted in this thread, maybe he/she actually has a 3gs and in order to give correct information, it would be nice to know which one he/she has don't you think?
