Default Discounts on plans???

My wife recieves a 18% Fan discount on her plan through prudential, Today we recieved our first bill. we called Atnt and was told that the discount does not apply till the 3rd billing cycle because it is an iphone. Is this true? When we setup the 3rd line at the atnt store, we applied our discount and there was no problem. Mgr said it would show in our first bill. Has anyone else had this problem??

My fan discount (for being a University of Florida student) activated immediately when I signed up for it while on the v1 and then when I switched to the 3G it was transfered over instantly as well. I haven't heard of this 3 month wait period but it could be because of the certain fan you are receiving.

thanks for the quick reply. We would think though when the Mgr at the Atnt store was applying it, something like that in there system would pop up to let the customer know. Gonna have to have my wife call the people that deal with this at her company.

Have you checked the online account to see if the fan appears? Mine appears right at the top of the page and showed up just a week (or less) after I applied for the fan.

Yup when we log online we see the our Prudential Fan account on the web page... One thing i want to know, if they prorate you on your entire bill. Than why do they not give you the minutes for the prorated time also.

My plan started 8-13
so it goes like this - 8-13-8-27(prorated) 8-28 -9-27 (1 month advance)
But on my usage minutes it says 1400 total -left over 1100. Shouldn't i have been given an additional 700 minutes for the prorated charges? They charged me half price for all the fees. Just want to know i before i make the call again..

mine shows up as well youngbinks. is there a way to see how much of a discount i actually received. mine is the

You got the fan discount on the V1? I'm still on V1 and have had my fan attached for months and still don't get anything. AT&T told me I'll only get it if I switch to V2.

just call your at&t store. It all depends on your job, school, and maybe some other things.

i get a 25% discount on anything feature THAT IS OVER $30 a month. For instance, my data plan is $30 and my phone plan is $40, so i get 25% off of each of these, but my text plan, i do not, since it is below $30.

I have had at&t (since they were cingular) and i picked up the 3G iphone a month ago. When i found out my discount, he said it would take several billing cycles for this discount to apply. I think it is BS, they can just make 25% more off of me for 2 more months...

anyways, i was pretty stoked to find out my phone bill would be $30 a month LESS than before and that is with an iphone.
