Difference in battery life - wall vs computer

Aside from the speed in which the 3G charges when connected to an outlet compared to a computer, has anyone experienced a difference in battery life? I'm beginning to think there may be a difference.

I don't see why there would be, but will be interested to see what others have to say. Just about all of my charging is either thru the computer or the car and I am happy with my battery life. But if wall charging makes it better, I am there.

It may be your not completely charging the iPhone via USB, but you think you are. Do you have any numbers to show your assumption?

i only charge mine once it's below 20%, and always fully charge it. it takes typically less than an hour to fully charge from the wall, and at least 2-3 hrs from my computer. i normally get 24-48 hrs of life, but notice at times getting less than 24 hrs with no noticeably different usage.

I also think it charges faster via wall charger and may last slightly longer that way, but have no data to back that up.

I can see it charging faster with the wall wort.. but power is power, the battery doesn't know or behave differently with regards to it's power source. Just my logical conclusion.. not tested.

How often do you use your phone to get battery life like that? Is it a 3G?
