Deleting iPhone icon

This is a discussion on Deleting iPhone icon within the iPhone 3G forums, part of the Apple iPhone category; I've seen Putty before. But i'm scared off it. I don't know why? lol...

    I've seen Putty before. But i'm scared off it. I don't know why?

    lol understood. i was too i think it's because in most cases it's a direct access to the system files so if you mess up something, you can essentially kiss your computer good-bye. once you learn it, you do get more confident with it. it just takes time and step by step.

    I'll have a play in time, just not right now. I've got years ahead of me to learn all this stuff. But right now... everything iphone is what I want to know learn/teach.

    If you're only using it for its SSH capabilities don't even bother with it. Use a GUI app like WinSCP.

    What about us Mac owners... Cyberduck is also very nice

    Thank you. Cyberduck is awesome. Even though sometimes it refuses to connect your iPhone but who cares... it still works!!!

    lol agreed! i hate that. anytime it fails to connect i feel like throwing my phone, but much like my laptoppy i love my phone too much. the only phone i was ever attached to.
