Default Can you delete Apple installed apps?

I would like to delete some of the Apple installed apps on the home screen. I don't and will not ever use them and would like to never see them again.

Is this possible?

Without jailbreaking?

With jailbreaking?

Thanks

definitely not without a jailbroken iphone.

WITH a jailbroken iphone, the closest thing i think you can do is remove the icons with an app in Cydia called "poof" (which is also included in BossPrefs).

Thanks.
Guess I'll let it go for now. Not sure I'm ready for jailbreaking yet.

I just shove them on the last page of my home screen. Out of sight, out of mind.

yeah that has been my solution so far as well.
It just bugs me to see them on the occasional "over scroll"
I am one who doesn't like useless junk laying around.
