same voice plan, you pay 30 dollars for the unlimited Internet and 20 for unlimited text, less for fewer text of course

The $129.99 that you saw for 700 mins included the data plan.
The $129.99 assumes that both lines would have iphone 3g.
i.e. 69.99 + 30 + 30.

The voice plan price for 700 mins is $69.99.

Basically, there is no real separate iPhone plan. AT&T explained to me that it is a la carte. But, iPhone 3G buyers HAVE to get the $30 data plan.

I already have the 550 Minutes (Nation) plan at $59.99. I will be able to keep it. Then add $30 for the data plan. I'm already an AT&T customer so I'll add $18 for the one-time upgrade fee on my first bill.

ohhh got ya... thanks! do you think we will be able to cancel the data plan? last year they said we couldn't but they eventually let you cancel and i know some people that cancelled early...
