3G iPhone on T-Mobile & Data Roaming ??

I currently have a 3G iPhone on the T-Mobile network and can not get EDGE service without turning on the "data roaming" setting. If I have this setting on at all times I get perfect EDGE service but I don't know if I'm getting charged actual roaming fees. Does anybody here on this forum know if there is any other way to get the EDGE service to work or if I'm getting charged extra fees?

I'm using an i-smart sim unlock chip. Works good so far but just not sure about the "data roaming" thing.

If you don't get an answer, I would use it for 5-10 minutes roaming and then check the bill.

Having "data roaming" switched on is the only way i have found to connect with 3G. Before i test it myself has anybody else found that they have received any addition charges from T-mobile?

Im using a O2 Pay-as-U-go Iphone 3G jailbroken, on T-mobile network with a rebel SIM card.
