I'm still using my iSkin Revo case from my first gen iPhone. Of course, the Apple associate advised me it wouldn't fit but it does and perfectly too. I'll continue to use it until I find something I like more.

but it was so flimsy that I am taking it back, no way worth $30, it's more like a cheap silicone from ebay for $1.99.
I thought my old silicone cases for v1 would not fit, but when I got home from buying iphone and tried on my Paul Frank case from v1 it fit perfect. In fact almost all my old cases worked for v2 with exception of the fitted hard cases. I did order an Invisible Shield from Zigg.com.

I don't know what specific holster you're asking about I suspect it's similar to the case I have used for my Treo 650, ATT Tilt and now my iPhone 3g which is housed in the Griffin Elan hard case. It's a perfect fit, if you put it in the case screen facing away from you the headphone jack is in the perfect spot to plug in your favorite buds or headphones.

I do not have 3G yet, but I kept v1 in a micro fiber sunglass bag until I found a case.

I just put on my BSE skin and it is wonderful! Its an improved design over the v.1 iPhone skin. Much easier to apply. No more worries about scratching the plastic back, yay
