The holes line up perfectly-you sort of have to massage the skin into the proper position. One thing i'm not quite sure about is the holes for the Volume button and the sleep /wake button. It seems like there should be cutouts there and it's like they didn't get punched all the way through when it was made. I've tried pushing them in but i don't want to rip the case. Am i crazy - is that how they are supposed to be??

That's how they are supposed to be. It is basically meant to protect the buttons. I like it, they line up perfectly and don't hinder the use of the buttons IMO.

Thanks lol , I thought about it after i posted and really looked at the case and thought a cut out by the volume button might get caught .

I also have the purple solo fx. I received my white Moshi iglaze today but I went back to my iskin. I'm afraid if I dropped it & if it fell face down the glass would crack.
I really like the look of the pink seidi innocase II so that might be my next one to purchase.

what's the best case with a screen cover, like heat/water prof? Work place safe.

I would say the Otterbox or Elements cases are the best for overall protection. Otterbox has some waterproof cases (generic) but the specific case ad for the Iphone does not mention "waterproof". I think it has some cutouts for button access. How waterproof/heat resistant does it need to be?
