Luxe series case by iFrogz

If I were to talk about the iFrogz Luxe case, what would be the first thing that I would mention? When I asked myself that question I decided the first thing to mention is feel. This case just has a feel to it. I know it sounds weird, but you will understand when you hold it in your hand. The finish on this case is silky smooth. It seriously has a luxurious feel to it, maybe that is why it is named the Luxe!

The Luxe is a two piece slider case, that comes with a stick-on screen shield. The screen shield that it ships with is crystal clear. The case has two parts, a top painted half made of hard plastic, and a bottom half that is hard black plastic. Both of these halves, have a felt liner on the inside, for the back of your phone. This keeps the case rubbing the phone. The bottom half has three tabs that slide underneath the other half. The center tab looks like a button in appearance, and the two other tabs are just small tabs. Although the center tab looks like it is supposed to lock the case together, and would need to be pressed to remove the case, it does not provide that function. The top half has four tabs that slide underneath the other half, and one that slides over. Two of the tabs are narrow, and the other two are wide. The tab that slides over the bottom half looks like it is supposed to receive the button mentioned earlier, but it is merely a cosmetic feature. The small narrow tabs described seem delicate, so use caution when sliding this case together.



There are openings in this case for the screen, sleep/wake button, camera lens, headphone jack. There are also two other openings, one on the side for the volume rocker and the silence switch, and one on the bottom for the speakers and dock connector. The opening on the bottom leaves only a thin strip of plastic on the front, below the home button, which might be susceptible of breaking.

My wife has the red one it's a very nice case and I thought i'd like my leather case I'll be buying one of these soon

Just be careful when fitting the two sections together; the two plastic tabs on the bottom piece are easily broken, though the fit of the case is fine without them.

Its ok. Its basically a knockoff of the original seidio for the iPhone 2G.

i just ordered this case on amazon. my buddy has it and i saw his this past weekend and loved it

i bought the same orange one not too long ago and i love it.

the only downside was the moron at at&t that i keep telling my hubs that im gunna attack is he broke the original one trying to help me put it on and in the process put a huge gash in my phone then drag that gash out about 2 inches. the corners of the little tabs bend really easily so be careful!

another thing i noticed is when i have my headphones plugged in and my phones ontop of them or even near them the color has rubbed off onto them. i now have orange headphone cord.

My wife has the red one and I have the orange. Haven't used any others so I can't do a comparison but we both really like the Luxe.
