Default Just installed InvisibleShield...

Hi
I just applied the InvisibleShield and I have just left it to set for 24 hours.

Just below the Apple logo on the back there is a air bubble. I tried to remove it but it just stretched a bit and that was it. Will this bubble disappear after the 24 hours?

Also, the apple logo has a couple of very small lines (that look like scratches). The logo is definately not scratched because I checked for scratches before I applied the shield. Will these vanish eventually?

Thanks

The bubble may disappear over time, depending on how big it is. I applied an ApplePeelz to my Macbook a couple of years ago (same sort of thing as the Invisible Shield) and it had little bubbles all over it for almost a week. They eventually disappeared because the material allows air to pass through it, but very slowly.

As far as the lines in the logo, don't worry about it, it's probably because of the liquid used to keep the shield moist. It didn't get scratched.

Hi
THanks for the reply.

Should I clean the back of the iPhone now or wait until it has set for 24 hours?

You should be able to clean it now, it won't mess anything up. I'd probably let it sit at least an hour just to make sure.

I installed Bodyguardz on Sunday, and just today am I noticing that most of bubbles have gone away. It's going to take a few days, but they should all be gone eventually.

Thanks for the replies, the bubble is gone now.

I was wondering. What is the best way to clean the shield?

Also, does the front protect the home button? I took out the circle and applied it but was wondering whether it is actually meant to go over it or not. I got a finger print on it so it looks pretty bad.

thanks

Just wipe it down with whatever you want, except sandpaper . It won't protect the home button, that's why there is a hold in the shield that goes over the button. Don't be worry about fingerprints. Get a little towel and wipe it down.

Hi again,
I have a problem with the shield now. Parts of the corners are not sticking to the phone. I keep pressing them down but they come off again. What can I do to get them to fully stick? Does the IS lose it's strengh?

Thanks

im not sure what IS uses to make the skin stick but try spraying or using a small amount of application that came along with the skin. I know BSE all you use it baby shampoo and water. Works like a charm!
