I didn't like the DLO ones that much...the crystals are soooo much better

Awesome... I'm glad I stuck with the crystal film myself.

just picked up the DLO anti glare and love them. fit is excellent!

you cant compare these to the crystals since they are completely two different products.

DLOs are ment to reduce glare where as the crystals are meant to just protect the screen. When I had the powersupport anti glare for my V1, they looked the same as the DLOs . Both are grainy and meant to reduce glare.

I use the Crystal Film protectors which are around $15 for two. I did see the DLO protectors at BB recently and was interested because I've been very pleased with all other DLO accessories I've purchased in the past and you can't beat the price unless, of course, they simply don't work well. I've always changed my film protectors on occassion on my first gen iPhone. I just like the look and feel of the new film and they do actually take a beating. Keep us posted and let us know how they work out for you!

On a related note here, my V1 had the crystal screen protector purchased at the Apple Store. My 3G has the AT&T case mate ones I bought at the AT&T store which are obviously anti-glare. I wasn't in a picky mood-I wanted a formal screen protector on it right away. Definite difference-has a grainy look to it. But one advantage is that it does not look smudgy at all, whereas the crystal one does. And the grainy look is not a huge deal-breaker-I'm already used to it. For me, it wouldn't be worth the bother of removing and replacing with the crystal clear type.

Yes. I have noticed I'm like wiping my screen A LOT now. And I have this stupid air bubble I can't get rid of.

But, I still like the crystal ones better. Especially when playing hi-res videos. I'm kind of picky with my video.

Well, the lefthand corner of my screen protector is curling up-as in peeling off. Just a little, slightly, but annoying. I still have one crystal one that I got last year for the V1. I wonder if it would fit. When I hold the V1 & 3G next to each other, the screen size looks the same, so I'm thinking it might be worth the try, but you never know with the nuances between the two, as slight as they may be.

If it covers the home screen button and the ear speaker then it won't fit EXACTLY. I used a V1 DLO antiglare screen protector until I got the 3G crystals.
