Default Incase slider case problems

I know there are other threads with complaints that the Incase slider case for the 3g fits so tightly that it creates air bubbles on the edges of screen protectors. Has anyone been successful at using it with a screen protector? I LOVE the look and feel of this case other than the bubbles. Can I get a screen protector to fit with no bubbles with this case or should I return it? Thanks for your help.

You'd get quicker replies if you would post in the appropriate sub-forum. Anyway, I've had the slider case since they came out and also use the crystal film protector without any bubbles whatsoever. So, yes it is possible to use both without issue.

If you don't have it, i would try out the gun metal version... imo it's the best one. Fits perfect, easy to slide in and out of the case, fits perfect with the screen protectors. You could even put on the screen protector after putting on the slider to get it to fit perfect within the slider.

I am using the Slider with the matte screen protectors that Apple sells in their stores. Works perfect.

I would suggest putting the screen protector on and let in set in for a couple of days to make sure any air makes it's way out....then try the case. Slowly at first.

I am having the same problem as the original poster. I get a couple of little bubbles at the bottom. To me it is a none issue. It bugged me at first, but now I barely notice it. I certainly would not return the case over it. This slider case rocks

I tried the matte black slider when they first were available and always ruined my screen protectors. I seemed to be the only one I could find that had this problem, since other Apple Store employees had the sliders in matte black and screen protectors without bubbles. After the gunmetal version came out, I bought it and tried it out and it worked just like the version for the v1 iPhone. Seems they reengineered it to be less tight and now it works the way it should, but I only know that the gunmetal works for sure for me. But I think the gunmetal version out-rocks the black matte anyway.

Im having the same problem, I loved my Anti Glare but it just wont work with my matte incase slider. Ive heard that if you go with the gun metal case you wont have a problem with it. I love the matte black case too much to go with another color.

I have the matte black one on my 3G and I haven't had any problems with my screen protector. I'm using a cheap Case Mate one because they were like 6 bucks for three.
