aenti,

I feel the same way you do about getting it right. I had such a hard time no getting lint on the protector from the air that before I could lay it down on the back of the phone, it already had a few pieces of lint that I could not remove from it. I just settled for a naked back and an Incase folio case for when I need extra protection.

Which Incase did you buy?

I bought the incase protective cover

I really don't like it very much, but it does provide good protection. It was one of the only good cases I could find at Apple store (Griffin Elan form was nice, but I heard many reviews of the leather peeling off). One thing I liked- the crystal screen protectors from Apple Store come with a pre-installation screen which removes all lint before you use your protector.

make sure you take the case off everynow and then to remove the dust particles. if not you'll be surprised to see tiny scratch marks on your casing.

Make sure to do this. I have the same case, once a week I clean the phone AND the case free of dust.

How do you clean the case?

Take a moist towel and clean the inside and out of the case to get rid of any oils, dirt, resedue left over. Then dry with a cloth. I just do this because it only take a a minute or two and helps make the phone look a little better.

So how do you like your Incase?
I've noticed it lets a lot of the lint in my pocket into the openings (speaker grill, dock area, ringer switch). I clean it with a cloth, but it is annoying.

I like it. I have numerous cases, this one by far my favorite. It is not too think but still durable. Fits the phone snug, which is what I like. I have the grey, I wish I would have gotten the black though.

Yea, I was lucky, Apple had just restocked these when I bought mine. I think it is the most popular case over at our Apple Store. I was considering switching to the Elan form, what do you think?
