Looks like crap imo. It doesnt even cover the bezel. And a metal case may block 3g signal(i think thats why its plastic in the first place).

Yes, it's not metal, it just has a metal look to it. So it won't affect the 3g signal. I just thought it might be an option for those who like the metal look. It also comes in black, red, blue.

Sorry, i didnt take much time to look at the listing. If its acrylic i guess its better than i thought.
Personally i thought an aluminum or metal case would look like crap and be bad functionality wise.
Still not a case i would consider even thought it has the color scheme of iphone v1.

-I need a case that will temporarily protect my iPhone while in my pocket such as when Im at work or at school, and I think this might be that case

Go for a skin. Best Skins Ever makes a good one and you can't tell it's there. It takes some time to apply but if you do it carefully, it looks great and will do a good job protecting against scratches.
