Default Bodyguardz time management

After applying the bodyguardz, and making sure that it has a firm grip on my phone, shouldi still let it sit for 24 hours? Or do they only say to do that because it needs time to dry out the solution?

This is out of experience with my invisibleSHIELD, i suggest to let it stick because it might "unstick" and bubbles may start to form then you'll have to do it all over again.
