It's obvious what my intentions are by posting in this section so...

... HI ALL !

I have a 1 month old jailbroken iPhone 3G which, after spending the better part of last year waiting for a more stable generations of units, decided to invest in something that didn't make me want to cry.

I went from a Sony Ericsson Z310a to an iPhone 3G.

2 (hopefully) funny anectodes :

1) I would always get into heated yet constructive arguments with people who owned Mac computers vs people with PCs. My stance regarding Apple products was always "hey, if you like paying triple the price for something that can be done just as equally good by another company, it's your choice". Funny I'd give into an iPhone and realize this is the best handheld device I've owned, bar none. Yet, the brand wasn't part of the decision. Microsoft could've been doing iPhone for all I care, an awesome phone is an awesome phone, period. Needless to say, I haven't been so vocal on Apple stuff as of lately.

2) I work for technical support of a Canadian cellphone carrier, one which does not SELL iPhones (network is CDMA)...yet 1/3 of le the floor has iPhones, if it's any indication. LOL. We troubleshoot PDAs and Blackberries all day here and I must admit, nothing compares to an iPhone. Not even the newly released Blackberry Storm.

I've jailbroken my iPhone 15 minutes after getting it out of the box and never looked back.

Me happy.
